What we run

What happens at a baithak

A baithak is a sitting: one room, everyone talking. People want to learn AI, but the moment they see a four-hour lecture, they switch off. So we run ours the other way round. You learn by doing it, with the people next to you.

AI for Everyone

The sessions themselves. Someone shows what they have been building or learning, and then the room talks back. Nobody assumes you already know.

Founders Meetup

Pitch what you are building to a room that will tell you the truth about it. For people looking for a co-founder, a first user, or someone who has already built the thing they are about to build.

AI Walk

A baithak with no chairs. We walk and talk about AI at the same time. It is better for you than hours of sitting, and an easier first step if a room full of laptops feels like a lot.

From one table to a lecture hall

The first session was five people and one conversation at Queeta Hotel, with no stage and no mic. The sixth filled a lecture hall at the University of Karachi.

Drag it, or use the arrows below.

The room

Who comes to a baithak

One note left on the wall after a session: “I used to think AI was only for CS students, but after attending your session I realised that AI is for everyone.”

  • Students

CS and engineering students working on final-year projects, or just starting out.

  • Developers

Software engineers picking up AI in practice rather than in theory.

  • Professionals

People exploring a move into AI from another field.

  • Founders

Entrepreneurs building with AI, looking for collaborators and honest feedback.

  • Anyone curious

No background needed. You can come to your first one knowing nothing.

Not sure you’d fit in?

Come to one and see. There’s no test at the door.

The team
